Fishing Derby

Wednesday September 19 at 6:pm bring your fishing poles, friends and parents for the Annual Adventure Club Fishing Derby.

We will have prizes, ice cream and you will get to make lots of friends.

Welcome Back

Fall!!! What a great season! I love fall! The colors, the crazy weather and just the simple fact that winter is even closer.

But fall means that all our programs are back to their regular schedule. Sunday morning Faith Builders, Wednesday Night Adventure Club with the GEMS & CADTES programs, Children's Choirs and Preschool Program. What a blast.

I want to invite you all to check our classrooms. You will a new amazing mural in the 3rd and 4th grade classroom and a newly painted preschool class. It is just great to see that Beechwood cares so much for the young ones and to see how blessed we are to have such a great place for our kids.

To get here it really took all of us over the past 5 years, working together and developing a vision that, i personally believe, will change the generation to come.

I am looking forward to see the young lives being transformed during the ministries that we offer. Christ spoke of faith as being a secret that is mastered by the little ones. And that is so true. Seeing them growing in their understanding of the Lord, while they build strong relationship with their peers and their teacher and learning about our community as being a place to serve and use their gift is not only a vision but is a reality.

You might of heard me say: Kids might not remember a bible lesson that they heard in class but they will remember projects that they were involved. This is something dear to my heart to see al the kids participate in projects like Operation Christmas Child, or making blankets for the Rescue Mission. I would encourage you to participate with your children, be active in their faith development. Children learn by example. And we believe that this ministry belongs to all of us as a faith family. We need good example walking along side our children. We need you!

Stop in the classroom on Sunday Mornings, stop in on Wednesdays Nights and see how lives are changed. Get involved, be a Myth Buster, partner with us as we walk along side this future generation.

“The Basis of our Beliefs - What Every Child Should Know”

Children catechism. “The Basis of our Beliefs - What Every Child Should Know” - a 6-week class, for 3rd – 5th GRADE STUDENTS, teaching some of the basic fundamentals of the Reformed faith. Each week, for one hour, we will explore lessons which will cover The Apostles’ Creed, The Ten Commandments, The Lord’s Prayer, Baptism and Communion ,the Church (the family of God); and Time with God (developing a devotional life). “The Basis of our Beliefs - What Every Child Should Know” class will begin on February 25 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the Choir Room.
